The Challenge:
Solve, a visionary startup, set out to redefine grocery shopping in Saudi Arabia. It wanted to create a luxury fine food emporium experience centered around organic, locally sourced produce, dairy, and meats. It would also incorporate an artisan bakery and cafe. The challenge was to craft a sophisticated brand identity that drew from Saudi Arabia's cultural heritage, while also developing a clear categorization system for store sections in both English and Arabic.
The Solution:
Inspired by traditional Saudi fashion garments and textile patterns, we developed a filigree-inspired visual identity that exudes elegance and cultural heritage. Each store section—Produce, Butcher, Bakery, Dairy, and Fishmonger—was uniquely branded with bespoke typography and iconography.
We extended Solve’s brand into premium merchandise, including duffle-bags and scarves blending modern luxury with cultural authenticity. This holistic approach positioned Solve as not just a supermarket, but a lifestyle brand redefining the shopping experience.
